Mission Complete

Praise the Lord! The Team has completed another mission. We did 8 outreaches this time. The team was in awe after the 8th site. We saw over 760 people and when we finally tallied how many people we treated and gave the gospel, there were over 3,700 people total who heard the good new. Most important over 2000 people gave their lives to the Lord. Hallelujah! Over 300 supernatural healings occurred. the Blind saw, the deaf heard, the lame walked, goiters and lumps disappeared before our natural eyes just to emphasize that our God is alive and still does miracles, signs and wonders through the obedience of His people who love Him. What a mighty God we serve!
A Big Thank You, Maraming Salamat, Mahalo Nui Loa, Domo Arigato Gozaimasu to all 90 volunteer team members. Your heart to serve makes the outreach so special.

Site 8 – Barangay Liberty

This site name has a significant reason why it is called Liberty. Jesus has shown the people of this community that they will be set free. There were many who worship death symbols of skulls and dragons. It also has a feminine influence with the boys and men of the area. Many are influence to have gender changes. There a particular young man who was hearing impaired which affected his speech. An idolatry to a skull necklace and demonic shirt design was preventing this young man from being released to have the hearing and speech needed from him to let his God given gift be released. Mom Cora had explained about the death symbol and prayed with him. While he repeated the prayer to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior his speech became clearer and clearer. He was still reluctant to get rid of the shirt since it cost but agreed when Mom Cora offered him to replace the shirt.
God was showing this village to break free from bondages they struggle with and rely on Jesus to empower them to be released. This site was the last but the most people seen in a day. Over 760 people were given the Gospel and over 60 percent gave their lives to Jesus. To God be the glory!

Site 7 - Barangay Bucanang

At this site there was sort of hesitation from the people in the town. Apparently two other medical missions came within months before we came. One medical mission had a hidden agenda of selling the medicines that the doctors prescribed during the outreach. The second medical team that came ran out of medicines. We found this out around almost lunch time. We were wondering why there were hardly any people showing up. It was close to lunch time when people finally realized that we had plenty of medicines, however the one they were thankful for was the part that they experienced the love of God through the testimonies and team members willing to give time to talk and pray with them throughout the outreach. God continues to impact the Filipino people and was being known throughout the mountain areas of Palawan. Strongholds by amulets from witchcraft and idolatry were broken because of the truth of Jesus’ sacrifice and the grace for His children. Amazing love has broken the chains of the people we met. They gained the freedom by Jesus becoming their Lord and Savior. Over 500 people were seen.

Site 6 Iwahig Prison - Inagawan Sub colony

Today, we went to Iwahig Prison Penal Colony. We went to a different sub division of the prison from two years ago that we were not able to treat two years ago. This sub colony had two types of prisoners. One is Medium security which prisoners were just transferred from Metro Manila jails and the second is Minimum Security prisoners that are about to be released from prison.

It was challenging for the Medium Security since they will only let out 20 at a time from the cells to medical section and 20 for dental section. However we were able to treat over 400 prisoners and also the families living inside the Penal Colony.

An awesome testimony is that a prisoner from the last visit became a pastor while we were there two years ago and he was released last year. Now the surrounding Christian churches assisted him in building a chapel inside the prison that he now pastors.

Many prisoners gave their lives to the Lord Jesus and now he will follow up from inside the colony. Please continue to pray for this Pastor and continue to build the kingdom of God within the prison to set the captives free even inside the prison walls.

Site 4/5 Barangay Zibaltan and Zone One

Some of the team members had experienced some health issues but we were able to press on with the remaining two teams. the main team went to Barangay Zibaltan and a smaller team went to Zone One in the mountain since it is a smaller site. None of the team members wanted to go home without going home without getting all the people hearing the saving message of Jesus.

Zone One site reported that majority of the team never heard the Gospel Of Jesus Christ. They able to see almost 200 people in the mountain side. In addition, Barangay Zibaltan reported miracles of the blind able to see and a man with a goiter dissappearing with prayer.

It was just an amazing day and that night we were going to say goodbye with our youths who needed to get back to school since they only have one week with us. So we loss a third of the team, but the impact was life changing and lasting as they testified of the experienced that Jesus showed them during their time on the mission field. We know as they return home they will make an impact in their community. What an awesome God we serve! We delivered the Gospel to over 500 people combined. Jesus is the name above all names that changes our lives.

Site 2/3 Barangay Manlag and Bagong Bayan

After the initial day, the team was ready to split into two teams. One was to go to village called Barangay Manlag and the other to Bagong Bayan which means "new village". Both teams continue to give the love of God in these two sites. This year we were able t have over 20 young adults joined us in the mission field. After the second site they changed their heart and minds into the compassion of Jesus Christ after experiencing the need to give the message of hope and salvation to people in need. One young lady stated that "when we get back we should be doing the same thing in our communities". What a testimony and a life changing experience for these young adults. They are powerful prayer warriors and first hand saw miracles signs and wonders just by praying with people.

Both sites saw around 500 people and within two days we were able to give the gospel to over 1500 people. This is what medical missions are about. the bigger the teams the more area we can cover in giving the salvation message of Jesus to as many as we can. The need is great as the time draw close when everyone will hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
