Cambodia Medical Mission Complete!

Cambodia Medical Mission completed and all the Team member have gone back to give their testimony to their home church. Can't wait to hear all the testimony. The team has treated around 2,000 people. I will give a breakdown at a later time. Please continue to pray that the all that all the team members get their rest and have travel mercies as they head home. What an awesome mission they accomplished for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To God be all the Glory!

Tasuo Village

Tasou Village is the final village outreach the team will conduct a clinic. Everyone was excited during the outreach because it was their final chance to give Jesus as a group. Their was a child with a birth defect and her family situation is very bad The team is trying to sponsor her with the local ministry along to get her the treatment she needs to heal her birth defect. In addition to help her other siblings as well. Menchie will give more details when she settles into the hotel. they saw over 200 people on the last site. Continued healing and many salvations happened on this final day of the outreach. below are more pictures of the last site.

It was a bit of challenge with the rain flooding the path to the restroom.

Angkrasang Village

Praise the Lord! today at Angkrasang Village we saw 414 people...lots of healing of joint problems. There was a person who perspired too much, his arms was really filled with pores of sweats after he was seen by the doctors, he went to prayer and healing area. Ruby prayed for him. The man was very nervous and doesn't know why, he was not use to many people around him because of his sweat pores. They prayed for him to overcome his shame and fear, and he acccepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior. There was a big difference was seen on his face, a big smile, joy and peace.
In the Evangelism area, one of the team member asked the people if they want to stay to accept Jesus as their Savior, they can stay, listen, and pray the prayer of salvation. If not, they may go to Triage area and be seen by the nurses. Amazingly, every batch of 50 people stayed each time!

Triage, nurses and vital signs doing a great job and their part to pray for patients if they have symptoms that are more than general fever or rashes, like high blood pressure and diabetes.

In Children's evangelism was a powerful and glorious day for the Lord, it started with about 60 children with sad frown face seen in each one of them arriving into the outreach . After the Team started to sing to Jesus and prayed, their faces became so happy and alive! The Lord has touched them as they sang praises to Him. The Word of God says that He emcompass the praises of His people especially children.

Dental area are always busy pulling teeth. Yesterday we need not have enough time in the day to treat all the people that came to the outreach clinic.

Pharmacy are consistently moving to prescribe every prescription but unfortunately some of the medicine ran out and boxes of meds purchase did not make it to Cambodia. No pharmacy in the village nearby to purchase more.

Please continue to pray for this village of Angkrasang. There are complaints from the people here that they are not sleeping good, getting night mares, so we need to continue to pray for deliverance, a lot of spiritual warfare going on.

Sheiha Village

The team was not too far away from the Royal Palace Hotel it was only a one and one-half hour drive. The weather is still hot and humid and not cooling off. Please continue to pray for the health of the team members.

The dental team also trained people the proper technique in brushing their teeth.

At Sheiha Village, there were over380 people treated and many came to know and accepted Jesus into their heart. What an awesome time the team is having seeing people come to know the Lord Jesus. It is such a priviledge to serve. We give God all the glory!

Veal Thom Village

Today was another 3 hour drive to the village because of the rainy weather. The next location was Veal Thom Village and the team travelled on muddy roads caused by the rain. The team prayed that God will hold off the rain so more people can come to the site. God answered their prayers and the rain stopped until they finished the outreach. They saw over 330 people today and to include the previous sites, the total amount of people that heard the gospel and treated for medical & dental were about 1100 people this week.

Again healing were expected to happen and it did. People accepted Jesus in their lives. Their was a lady in last year medical mission that was demon possessed and delivered in this village outreach. This time we heard that she is experiencing the same thing from time to time and according to the local pastor her husband was also being possessed a few months ago. We will keep praying for this couple. We will try to get their names to pray for them specifically.

The team will get some rest and relaxation around the village before heading back to the city. Internet connection is slow so the pictures are taking too much time to download. We will get pictures soon when the team gets back to the city. They will conduct three more sites to complete the outreach in Cambodia. Please continue to cover the team as they are in a spiritual battle and their travel from village to village because of the weather and road condition.

Missions outreach at the Local Church in Phnom Phen

Finally was able to get word from Menchie through internet but still no pictures to download yet. Today the team had some personal time but not before treating the local church and people around their community. The Team conducted a small outreach within the local church that hosted them this year. It was a great time to assist into reaching their community for Jesus by meeting their physical need.

The team also added that many miracles happened with people coming to the clinic with poor eye sight and through prayer many were healed and their vision became cleared. Their were also people with weak joints and strengthened through prayer. Many gave their lives to the Lord Jesus over the three days the team has been in country.

There was an answered prayer when while travelling back to the city, it has been raining for quite some time as the team arrived in country. A text message from the local church that a dam was about to break unless the government sent support to fix the dam. It could have wiped out the villages around Phnom Phen. It was very hard to get support immediately by the Cambodian government but as the team prayed, praised, and worshiped another text came from the church that the support from the government were sent immediately. We serve an awesome God and there is none greater. He answer the prayers of the righteous.

Tomorrow the team will have to travel a long distance and stay overnight at the next location. The are spending two days in that area and have a well deserve break before hitting the second week of the mission. Please keep them covered in prayer.

Prey Kuy Village Day 2

The team saw another 514 people on the second day. Many miracles happened in the two days at Prey Kuy Village. Back pains were gone, lumps on neck disappeared and lots of headaches healed in Jesus name. Just through prayer many are healed and with the presence of the team in these villages, the name of Jesus is being proclaimed in Cambodia. More understanding of what is Christianity are being explained and given through examples of the team being there as a witness of His goodness. So far the estimated total of the people treated are around 750. The team will drive back to Phnom Phen and will minister to the local area near their hotel. Please continue to pray for the team and their health as the weather is very humid and hot!

Village - Prey Kuy

It is exciting driving two and half hours to get to the first village of Prey Kuy. Prior to the team set up, the team did some battle with prayer. There were over 250 people treated in the first village. The gospel was also given and we pray that the people will receive the message. The follow up with the local pastors are key to spend time and develop relationships and present understanding of the message of the Lord. We stand in believing that the Word of God does not come back void. The Team will stay over night in the area since the next village is nearby.

There are no internet connection in this village so I am talking to the team through local cell phones for updates until they get back to the city to download the pictures.

Send Off to Cambodia Medical Mission

The Team is ready to go and are in flight to join the rest of the international team members coming from Germany, Japan, and the Philippines. God is an awesome to connect these compassionate people of God to unite as one and being obedient to the calling to do His will. Pray the team gets there safely and get prepared to do the work for God in giving the physical need of the Cambodian people medical and dental treatment. Pray also that the team will be strengthened as they are in agreement to the same purpose and will of the Father. That the team will be always healthy and refresh every morning.

Mission Complete for the PMMO 2011

Wow! what an incredible feeling that overcomes anyone in the presence of the Lord God. Joy, Peace, Strength, and Love just a mixture of emotions is indescribable. The team have departed back into their own city and community probably trying to give an account of what they experienced in their two week outreached in the Philippines. With everyone back home, each one is sharing an excitement of what happened within their own life as well as the people they touched.

It started before the mission in the Philippines, as each team member was given a seed of compassion by God towards His people. Then watered by God when we all reached out to a person in our own community. Then it grew outside each community towards the nations. The result of that seed grew to treating medically and having dental work to over 4,000 people with about 2,700 receiving Christ as their Lord and Savior.

It is only with the power of the Holy Spirit that we were able to do this within the two weeks. How awesome is our Lord God Almighty!

Site 6 - Talisay Final Day

We were blessed to use one of the newest school built for the high school students. This is the last site of the mission. The team was excited and pumped to do all they can do. Again many miracles happened and many ask for prayer for personal issues with themselves and family. One lady asked for prayer for her because her husband left her more than18 years ago and raised her kids with her mother. The team prayed and led her to a prayer of forgiveness and giving her burden to God. She walked out later with the weight on her shoulder lifted. The team experienced not only super natural healing but also gave healing to heart issues. That is what our purpose for this mission is to touch each person for God and at the same time empowering and increasing each team members walk of faith. I believe the team experienced a blessed and empowering time together with their God and each other. We saw over 600 people again. This year is a little different with a closer walk having to listen to what people who are hurting inside. We tended to people with unforgiveness and listening to issues of the heart and Jesus healed them of their sickness. We learned a valuable lesson of walking not as sinner that is forgiven but a saint walking doing good works for our God.

Site 5 - Silay

This is one of the poorest area in Bacolod but it is home of the newly built airport by the Japanese government a few years ago. The day started with a lot of people already in line that morning. It was a smaller place and we were crammed in but we were blessed. Lots of miracle has happened but we had issues with dental patients having to take two hours to do one patient. We strategically placed prayer warriors with the dental team to pray for patients that have extra ordinary teeth that grew like a hook and hard to pull out. Then that afternoon, dental was able to treat more patients. God does miracles also in dental and gave our dentist the strength the rest of the mission. There was a guy who came to the outreach with every joint hurting on his body because he works in an ice plant because it was the only job available to him. The team prayed and his joints healed up. He went home with just vitamins and a bag of rice. Over 600 people were seen. To God be the Glory!

Site 4 - Pulupandan

The team has earned its well deserve rest. We worshipped powerfully to God this morning and it prepared us for the site that we were about to do the work that the Lord Jesus assigned. This site was near the sea and their main livelihood is fishing. There were over 400 people were waiting in line. The team was ready for all the people today. We had several additional local teacher volunteers to help us with translation and crowd control. It ran so smooth that the team did not feel overwelmed. The prayer and healing team were awesome in seeing this one person with one arm shorter than the other and Pastor Kim literally saw the arm grew evenly as they prayed for the person. God continue to increase our faith as he shows His power to the obedience of His servants. Many came and many gave their lives to the Lord this day, over 600 people, Praise the Lord! even some of our local volunteers who did not have a relationship with God accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Its amazing what a testimony of what God does in our lives as Christians even the little things can bring a person to know our God is real and our God blesses us. Over 700 were seen for medical and over 200 were treated in dental. Praise The Lord!

Weekend Break

After three days of intense servanthood to the people of Negros (a little over 1800 people treated so far). The team needed a day of rest and relaxation to recharge and rejuvinate. Some the team members went to the Mambukal waterfalls and hotspring. This area has seven levels of waterfals with a natural hotspring that heats up as you rise to the top.

However the team never stops building relationships. When we have the opportunity to share the love of God we do. There was a young guide at the falls that was blind in one eye and we prayed for him to receive healing. We pray that this young boy will know the love of the Father as he grows and forgive his brother that caused his blindness.

Others went to the Panaad festival were each city in the island of Negros is diplayed. They advertised their resources and special culinary specialties. Even their entertainers come out to celebrate the festival.

On Sunday we worshipped on top of the mountain of Don Salvador were we planted a seed two years ago and the church has grown. This area was oppressed and a spirit of depression was over the livelihood of the people. Now Godhas been healing the area. There has been a change as Pastor Todd and Catherine Caplinger started a feeding program and a brick oven was built to be used to feed the people in that area and possibly start an income building program. it was a great time of worship up in the mountain with the clean air and God's creation surrounding the us celebrating God's goodness.

Site 3 - Handumanan

We started the morning we praise and worshipped. We were given the Word for the day that our hands are to be used to touch the lives of people. That a Christian fights with hands together praying to the Lord Jesus. It was a powerful time of worship because that day we had issues starting with the meds being lost and finding it later. Our dental area had cases that was challenging in getting some of the tooth being work taking three times longer than average time. People coming in that are opposing the love of God given to the people being seen. But God always comes out victorious because of the obedience of His servant’s heart and purpose is one with Him. We had teenagers just coming to the school to finalize their registration for next school year and they were able to be encouraged and empowered by Pastor Sue, being prayed over to do great things as they are the next generation. Then at lunch we were rushed by the multitude of people to be seen by our doctors. However, our team was so united and powered by the morning worship. We were able to treat a total of 718 and 460 gave their lives to the Lord and accept Him as their Lord and Savior. What a powerful time. That evening we were able to praise with power and outpouring of the Holy Spirit has energized each team member to include the leadership team. Everyone was fired up to even continue seeing people that evening. We also said good bye to some of the team members and it was an emotional time. However we will also be welcoming more team members joining prior to the next three sites. Blessings to you all.

Site 2 - Don Salvador

It was market day at our next site were people would walk for miles in the mountain to sell their goods. We did not anticipate many people waiting in line and expected them to trickle in as they do their buying and selling throughout the day. Then as we enter the gates of the school and there were already 200 people waiting to see the doctors and dentist. Wow! We did not expect that people will be waiting because this time was for selling and buying at the market. There lots of miraculous healing as people cam for prayer. Even as they sat and waited to see the doctors and dentist, the volunteers were able to talk and pray for people. We had our kids that would keep the other kids in line entertained as they waited to be seen. We treated over 639 people today and around 376 gave their lives to the Lord.

Site 1 - Manapla

Before we headed out to the first site, our team prepared by worshipping God the Father. This made a difference when we got to the site. People were already waiting; over 300 hundred people were already in line. We already felt that we were going to make a difference with every person we touch today. First off there were already healing as we prayed for people in line. There was man with a 1 inch lump on his throat just disappeared as Mommy Cora started praying with him. As people were seen many gave their lives to the Lord Jesus by accepting Him as their Lord and Savior. Then Prayer and Healing team prayed for someone that was deaf for 15 years and was finally able to hear. There was a woman blind that was prayed over and now cleared up the whiteness in her eyes. Incredible empowerment and gifting of the Holy Spirit flowed through each member of the team. We were even able to pray for the Mayor of Manapla when she stop by to visit. We treated around 473 people with 376 receiving salvation. The team was pumped.

Med Prep

God has brought together a group of saints that just came together as a family like it was in a reunion. We had quite a few first timer but seemed like they were veterans. We were all exhuasted but God gave us strength through the joy of serving His son Jesus. We even have a few little ones that are so helpful in everything trying to help in everyway and involve in everything. Worshipping together has brought a unity in the body of Christ.What an awesome time!

Arrival in Manila

Thanks be to God that continues to bring the team together to gather and unite as one to go forth for the love of Jesus. Philippine Medical Mission Outreach 2011

We are about to embark for this year's medical mission in the Philippines. We have a great team of 80 or more coming from every part of the US, and Japan. What a priviledge it is to serve God. We will be in central region of the Philippines. Negros Occidental is the island that we will serve. We were suppose to go to the Bicol area but I know God has us to go to Negros for his purpose. Pray for safety of the team that there is a hedge of protection around them. Also, Pray for the people we will be treating with medical and dental issues, that they will be able to be healed and also encourage with the Gospel of Jesus Christ presented to them. Pray for the team to show the love and compassion of Jesus and the people will receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Friends and family,

We greet you with the love and grace of our Lord Jesus. Hope all is
well with you! I write to you to request if you would partner with us
in supporting our medical mission to the Philippines and Cambodia this
year. Last year We cared for over 6,500 people with free medical and
dental treatment. This year are hoping to do the same and we cannot do
it without your support. There are a few ways you can support us:

1.Volunteer. For as many volunteers that join us the more people we
can accomodate.

2. Financially. Medicines are important and the need is great. If you
can sow financially to purchase these much needed medicines it would
help in caring for the patients. Also, we sponsor local doctors that
volunteer to assist us during the two-week outreach. The more doctors
and dentist the more people we can give free medical and dental care.
Lastly, we sponsor those volunteers who has the heart to go but cannot
afford to go.

we embarked this April to the Philippines. To meet their financial
need and permission to take leave from work to volunteer. In addition,
that all people can attend the outreach clinic and that there hearts
are prepared to receive the healing touch of Jesus through the doctors

MIssion complete in Cambodia

The team arrives tomorrow night and we will hear more of their testimonies. Internet connection was horrible in the end so update and testimonies will have to wait upon their return to Hawaii.

But overall the team of 30 with some translator and local volunteers saw over 2000 people in Cambodia and many came to know Christ and many accepted Him in their life as their Lord and Savior. The team continues to basked in their victory with Christ and supercharged for being touched by Jesus throughout the mission.

We will never be the same! Praise the Lord!

Sdok Prey Village

Another day of victory, although it was very hot and humid, God is awesome. We saw over 300 people today at Sdok Prey Village, over a 1 hour bus ride. A lot of us got physically tired but God always renewed our spirit. More prople was able to hear the gospel.

Another Site - Hab Village

It was a long 3hr ride to Hab Village. God is good, He gave us favor by holding the rain not until we left the village. We saw around 321 people and everyone was seen and treated. It was a very busy day, some healing went on as the team prayed for a paralyzed person who could not moved his arms. After we completed the prayer he was able to move and receive healing from God after 7 years. As people received the Lord Jesus into their life miracles happen as their faith increases to a God that they never heard of experience a life changing miracle.

During the long 3 hr bus ride back to the hotel we praised him and worshipped Him even when we where shaken by the bumpy road. Everyone was tired and exhausted but strengthen when singing praises to the God of wonders.

Marian's testimony:

During this trip, I have made so many discoveries-both about myself, but mostly about how God can move mightily within and for people. I have mostly felt humbled. To serve is humbling. To know how poorly people live and to help improve their lives through delivering health care is humbling. I also love the unity of the team. To think we come from such diverse backgrounds, yet to move together as one for God's children is exhilarating for me. I am on the dental team and we have unified and become focused on our tasks. I assist the dentist and prepare and sanitize the instruments. If it weren't for this care,the patient would experience pain from injection or worse--die from bacterial injection that travels into the bloodstream throughout the body. It's amazing what a small group of people can do if we channel our collective skills and move together as me focus on a common desire to bring healing and health to the people of Cambodia.

More testimonies of other team members:

One of the team member, Ericia who already discerned something when asking a lady what to pray for her. She was carrying evil spirits with her that controlled her. So Ericia and Pastor Phyllis started to pray for her. She created a commotion within the outreached site that people started to see what was going on as she was not herself. The translator had a hard time translating. The lady started to hit everybody who was praying for her, so all the prayer team were praying for the lady, translator were holding her down, Helma hugged her, she felt that the spirit of the Lord wanted her to hug the lady while she was held down to let her feel the spirit of God's love. It took about 10 minutes before she calmed down. After about 2-3 minutes the spirit came back on her again, she started walk away then fell down. Helma took her inside the medical area and talked with her and shared the love of God. We heard that she was already around the site the day before and started to get possessed. She was finally calmed again and we pray the evil spirits will not possess her again.

The devil is trying to stop and disturbed the mission before we came to Cambodia, please join us to pray for the protection of the team members and to be ready with the joy of the Lord which is our strength for the coming week. It will also be the last week of the Medical Mission.

This past week the total number of people who received medical and dental treatment is around 953. Praise the Lord!

Baby Miracle

Last year a very weak and very bony baby was wrapped in a very small place mat and about to be thrown in the river by her parents because they have 7 children, suffering in hunger. We saw her few days ago, took her a picture (beautiful and healthy).

After our outreached last year 2009, The team host went back a week later. Donnie and other staff members at New Life Fellowship went back to the village of Kratie, it was about an 8 hour drive from Phnom Penh, looking for the mother and baby. Donnie found out that they live another hour and a half from Kratie village. The baby was in life threatening condition and she can't even cry at all. They took her to an Emergency room in Phom Penh right away. They thought the baby will not survive because of the health condition and travelling a long distnace, but God made a way and He has a plan for the baby. The mother asked Donnie to adopt her and he did. Now she's legally adopted by these missionaries, Donnie and Sofia. The baby was not even a year old when they adopted her. God blessed them with another baby boy which is now 4 months old. I remember that baby a year ago, praying and hoping that she will survive. The Lord made a way and made it possible not only letting the baby survived but to bless her with parents that have a good heart. Looking back, and looking at the baby now, she is so pretty. I am so blessed that I was able to go this year to experience this momentous blessing by our Lord Jesus.

Testimonies in Kampong Thom Village

A testimony from Menchie:

When we were at Kampong Thom, It really broke my heart, when we asked and prayed for the people, because a lot of them were very excited to hear about JESUS, some are not...because they are not ready yet! but we saw a lot of outpouring, restoration, transformation. Can you imagine a lot of these people were elderly as you see in the pictures, but then, they never heard about JESUS. This is the first time they heard about the Gospel. Every time I meditate on what I see...my tears were coming out...I said thank you Jesus for sending me, for sending us.. to spread your gospel and to get out of our comfort zone to be able to go for the good... to bring hope, joy, peace, love and to share that Jesus died on the cross for each of them.

Tonight at dinner, Pastor Mara, an Assistant Pastor, spoke about encouraging words and testimony... Kampong Thom is actually one of the villages that has a history of lots of kidnapping crime...specially before... that's why we were all laughing because they told us and shared the story after we already went to the village... hahahaha, that was funny and thank you Jesus for the protection...Actually one of the master mind of the kidnapping became a Pastor in that village... Hallelujah, he was ministered by someone and he mentioned that the person that they actually planned on kidnapping during that time is Pastor Mara who's sharing the story.

It's my first time at the prayer and healing team, I thought it will be easy because I am a busy body and always wants to work, work, work. On our first day, Twinkle, P. Phyllis, Erica and I was already tired by the middle of the day... hahaha. I believe in praying without ceasing...but not praying aloud all day long..hahaha. But it's a good experience...I am just going to enjoy this first week, because next week different people will take our place. A few people will be leaving after 1 week and Pastor Stephan will switch people around. This is good, so some people can experience different departments in 2 weeks.

An excerpt from Twinkle's journal:

I prayed for dozens of people! We had translators to help us. We first asked if they were believers and if not we asked if they would like to receive Jesus. Some of them still have never even heard of the name Jesus before. But all of them were thirsty to receive Him. They needed to believe in something, the needed Hope. So many souls were saved in those two days! After they prayed to receive Jesus, they gave their prayer requests for healing and we asked that they believe that God would heal them. As I laid my hands on them I believed that my hands were God’s hands. My prayers were very simple asking for healing and for peace and joy to fill them. Towards the end of the day I was physically and spiritually exhausted that I don’t even know or remember what I was saying and it didn’t matter. It came to a point where I wasn’t surprised anymore and I knew all I had to do was touch them and they would be healed.

Seriously! I was just a mere vessel who was willing and God used me. Dozens were healed! If not physically they were healed emotionally and spiritually. A glow came on their faces. Many said they felt the happy and excited, others felt refreshed. They would thank us, but we reminded them that it is God who heals and He is the one to be thanked. One said they didn’t pray because they thought they had to pay for prayer. My translator explained that it’s free to pray to Jesus and taught her how to pray for herself for when she goes home. Those who weren’t physically healed at that time we believe God to be slowly building their faith (Luke 17:14). Seeds were planted and the local church will water those seeds once we leave the mission field. We trust the local church’s numbers and the faith of the people of the village have already increased!

The team was able to share some testimonies of how they saw God work on site. One testimony came from registration department. They noticed a big difference in the people’s spirit from when they first came to when they were leaving. All of them were filled with a sense of joy, peace, hope, and love! Amazing! ♥

Site1 Kampong Thom Village

Team is ready to go to the first site which is a 3 hour bus ride from the capital city of Phnom Phen. The village is calle Kampong Thom Village. However the team had a quick stop for a snack prior to getting to the village

They stop at a place full of vendors selling to the travellers. Yes, indeed it is alive! Tarantula Spiders and Crickets were being sold as pet or a tasty snack.

They had to unload the bus and walk a little ways to get to the village with a handful of people waiting for their arrival.

There were lots of children ready to be treated. There were around 560 people were evangelized and treated by a doctor or dentist.

The Dental team pulled teeth.

But the victory was in the healing prayer area were miracle signs and wonders were shown to those who gave their life to the Lord Jesus!

MED PREP

When the team got together and met with one another for the first time, they worshipped together to praise God for having safe passage and travel mercies getting everyone to Cambodia. Especially preparing for the field the Lord has ordained for the harvest. What a start to wonderful Medical Mission Outreach in Cambodia, we prepared the heart of the team to enter into the God's presence by praise and worship to the Lord of the Harvest with singing and instruments of Praise!

Med Prep is always the key before the outreach to prepare the daily supplies what we will need in the field. So each day we will only load up and go. This is the time the team will get to know each other and bond with working together as one for the same purpose. Each body will be ready to work in their area as the team members are assigned a place of duty. Everyone worked hard this first day and finished early enough in time for dinner. Everyone has prayed with each of their section to prepare them for the next days to come. What awesome time the team had getting to know one another. This is were long time relationships are built in the body of Christ from different areas of the world.

Day to Sightsee Phnom Phen

As we wait for the remaining team from around the world, the team had a day to sight see around the City of Phnom Phen. Kim Lang who is one of the volunteer and translator for the team took the GBC Team to see the temples and monuments. including the Meikong River.

They rode the Tuk-tuk everywhere which is one of the cheapest mode of transportation in Cambodia. They enjoyed the day and ate in a small deli that serve some lunch and dessert.

Lastly, they visited the night market where they befriended some children in the market area who wanted to take a picture with them.

Arrived in Phnom Phen

Praise the Lord! Menchie, Twinkle, and Marian arrived safely in Cambodia. The enemy had a plan in the airport customs when they arrived. The customs officer opened their luggage and started to question them with the medicines they brought and gave them a hard time. The customs officer said in order to keep the meds they wanted them to pay. Fortunately the people who were meeting the ladies gave Menchie some good advice and to bargain them down to keep the meds. So she got them down to half of what they originally wanted. It was better to pay than loose the meds. The enemy cannot stop the plan of God for Cambodia. Through this medical mission the people of Cambodia will hear the Gospel message of the Lord.

As preparation continues to excite the team members to go to Cambodia. There was a missing item that is very important. The medicine! It was mailed out from its origin in California. It arrived today, the day before the team leaves for Cambodia Medical Mission. Sent out an urgent prayer request this morning around 7:30 am and two hours later the prayer was answered. Thank you all you prayer warriors.

Menchie checked the Post Office around 8:30 am and ask the supervisor if any packages were about to be delivered. He said most of the carriers have loaded their trucks and they are about to go. However, he was kind enough to get Menchie's cell. About 30 minutes later, the supervisor called and said that the postman assigned to our neighborhood has not left yet and yes there were three packages addressed to us. He asked if Menchie will pick it up or wait to have it delivered. Menchie without hesitation said she will be right over to pick it up and make sure she has it in her posession.

Sure enough it was the three boxes of meds and she picked it up around 9:30 am. I know we have a big God we serve and He is always on time. Fervant prayer are always answered by God. Praises to our Lord. Please continue to pray for our missionaries for favor with the airport customs for the meds to go through with Hawaii and Cambodia customs and securities. Also, cover them as they minister to the sick and the hopeless. That their hearts are ready to received the love and compassion of Jesus. It is hot and humid in Cambodia so pray that every one is healthy and protection from any sickness or disease. Lastly , pray for a great harvest for the kingdom of God.

Gearing up to Cambodia Medical Mission

Just as the Philippine Medical Mission ended, we are about to embark on another God ordained medical mission to Cambodia. My wife and others from our church Grace Bible Pearlside in Hawaii will be travelling to PhnomPhen, Cambodia and join the ARMS team. This year will be different, as a team from Victory church in Manila will be joining to serve God as one body. Philippians 2:2 says then make my joy complete by being like minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. God continues to show us as being able to serve Him together united in love and compassion according to His purpose. If anyone would like to join the Cambodia Medical Mission. Praise the Lord!

As the Lord Jesus conquered death for us to live, We have overcome! . The team members are probably recovering from the battle that was fought and I pray refreshment of physical strength and the Joy of the Lord as they recover spiritual strength as well.

The final results of the mission were:

Medical patients seen: 2,496

Dental patients seen: 861

Total registered: 3,357

Decisions for Christ: 2,210

Healings over 240

As I looked back in what has just happened, I see that the enemy knew how much of a powerful team he was going against. We were over 90 enthusiatic and fired-up spirit-filled Saints going to take the land for God.

We battled against the political realm who was trying to place their name in what we were doing and stopping the people from coming since we stopped their campaigning strategy.

We battled against the heat that pounded the team as we worked in classrooms that were small and hundreds of people gathered waiting to be seen.

We battled mechanical problems that stranded half the team delaying them a couple of hours reaching the site in the mountains .

We battled authorities that were in control of the prison of not supporting as previous years because their superiors that was incapacitated with heat stroke 4 months ago was not able to assist in preparation to have the prison ready to be seen by the team.

However, no one can stop the Army of the Lord with Jesus as the Captain of the Host. The soldiers were ready and praises unto Jesus who has the Victory. Our battle cry of Hallelujah! conquered the enemy.

We opened up a new section in our arsenal of prayer warriors and healing ministry. For us Christians it was the "norm" but the world has forgotten what God continues to do. It was powerful through a believer with child like faith to engage their authority given by Jesus to heal the sick and the brokenhearted with prayer. The saints activated their faith in touching the sick with the hands of God. In every area of the mission the saints prayed. as well as the medical professionals that came with us. Excitement was the word seeing miraculous healings takes place.

Bagong Sikat Palawan

Wow, Amazing ! is the word. Today we treated over one thousand people. We gave the message of salvation even to theMuslim people that attended the outreach. Everyone pushed to the end. Over 599 people gave their lives to the Lord Jesus. We had spiritual battles throughout the mission but God's people prevailed and step up to the challenge and we have overcome. Halelujah! This was the last site and all are still excited and wanting to do more. I hope those who read this blog would join us in the kingdom building of God the Father. Iwahig Prison Palawan

This was a day that God increase the level of the team. Through prayer and faith of healing. Many of the prisoners were healed and freed within the prison walls. There was one man who did not get medical care and a tumor grew to a point that it push his eyes out of the socket. He was in so much pain that even our doctors could not clean the wound that he may bleed to death. They changed the dressing but the smell of the wound was strong that one of our care giver fainted. We had one prayer warrior who prayed with him and by noon, his pain disappeared and the bleeding stop. He finally was brought to the provincial hospital. Hopefully they will remove the tumor now that God has healed him.

The barbed wired fence and gated cells was to keep the prisoners locked up but as we gave them the message of the gospel they were freed from their burden that placed them in the prison. They were many that is in prison because of injustice but dance to get them justice for in our God we have liberty.

Barangay Simpucan Palawan

This day was an awesome day. We had an advance party go first the night before to prepare the Registration and Evangelism. There were close to 700 people at the site. The Barangay Captain or Chairman had trucks pick up people because we were in a remote side of the island. No electricity yet. As well as a cell tower. Radios were the only source of communication outside the village.

The team prayed prior to beginning our outreach and it is a powerful testimony to people around to see medical professionals praying.

Facilities are not always available and sometimes locked so we do what is provided and sometimes it helps with the heat.

Pangasinan Day 2

This day we saw over 500 people and the dental team doubled there patient in treating over 181 patients. That is not normal for the dental team who usually receive only 70-80 patients a day. God is giving the team strength

One thing for sure our God is alive as He uses the team as His hands and feet. Touching lives in supernatural way. The blind saw, the lame walked and the deaf heard the Good News of the Lord.

It is hot here and the team is also being challenge in their physical strength. We know the enemy tends to ruin a good thing when the saints are in the will of the Father. He tries to throw us off but the team is pressing on and nothing will stop God 's will in our lives. Pray for travel mercies as we head to Palawan. God has tilled the land and we marching forward to plant seeds of His love into the people's hearts.

Binalonan, Pangasinan Day 1

God bless this day as the team got their feet wet in the first site. We saw around 400 people and it was below the average amount oif people but we were blessed.A day in the mission field with miracles , signs and wonders are the norm. We would have been surprised if there were none. One lady the was partially blind but was operated on but here eye sight was still blurred even when the doctors did surgery to remove the cataract. Now after the team prayed for her, the vision on the blurred eye became very clear. She then went into the front of the people and testified what God has done in her life. Waht an awesome God we serve. Picture is below.

We opened a new area in the outreach, the Prayer for Healing room. This room is for people who want more prayers. People continu to receive more healing in that room and their faith increses even for those who are the prayer warriors. Over half the people seen gave their lives to the Lord Jesus and that was our main purpose for the mission to have people receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Getting ready for Battle

Witihin the last two days, the team came together to assemble. Over 90 volunteers from all over thee world assembled in Manila and we all travelled together to Pangasinan. To start the first week of the out reach. The next day we praised and worship equipping one another like preparing for battle. The word was given, the praise to hale the Lord continues.

Meds are being prepared for each site and day as the team worked hard bagging and checking equipment. The first day starts today and we are ready to praise the Lord this morning.

As the team goes out to the field. It will be hot and muggy. We covet your prayer.

On Our Way

The Hawaii team left for Manila on Friday April 9. It was an exciting moment as the team checked-in with no weight problem on all our baggage. 26 to count for total. God has His hand on the team. Upon arriving in Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Immigration officer opened up a new line and we went through like it was the start of a regular day with no questions asked. Then going through the customs as we received all our luggage. The customs guy took only one of our customs form and he made us pass through with no hassle at all. Not one bag was opened. How amazing is that? We had the paperwork ready to show with all the medicines in our luggage and got out within a minute. We Praise God for all He had done that day and everyone made it safely to the hotel. We are just waiting for the rest of the team and we will start the mission.

Medicine Pack out for the Medical Mission to the Philippines

The excitement grows as we are 14 days from the start of the mission. Last night, we started to pack out all the medicines recieved. Each person contributed in packing out 14 luggages of medicine to bring out to the field. We had to balance out the weight so that none of the luggages were over the limit to avoid being charge of excess weight at the airport. Everyone did a great job as we inventoried the medicines. God is showing me the make up of the team, energetic, joyful, patient, enthusiastic, flexible, and ready to serve. Pastor Nick who is one of the leaders for this mission to the Philippines encouraged us with this Word from Isaiah 49: 1-6, that described the Servant of the Lord. We are called to be servants of the mighty God who continues to show His compassion to the world until the Day arrives when we are with Him. The team has answered the call to be an instrument in showing His love and compassion. Pastor Parris from GBC Pearlside sent us off with a prayer to bless the Hawaii based team to join the rest of the ARMS team in Manila. What an awesome night it was for the team. More Volunteers Joining

Excitement is in the air as the mission comes to fruition. We are ready go and in three weeks we fly out to Manila. We have added a new member on the team and finally was approved leave to go. God is awesome how He orchestrates this team to be built. Last month we had almost 80 volunteers that will participate to make up the entire team. With that many team members we are able to conduct two sites in a day. So we needed more doctors and dentist to split the team in two. God has provided and we found enough medical professionals with the heart to serve. Praise the Lord! However, we will need more medicines. Please continue to stand with us as God multiplies the medicines through donations of the people praying and supporting this mission. Last year we treated over 4,000 people with one site a day now we expect to treat more than 7,000. Wow! how amazing is that and exciting to be part of the great harvest that God will bring into kingdom. Is God calling you to come? Let me know.

Preparing for the Mission

Team members are excited and can't wait to get started. More people are still joining. Please continue to pray for more doctors and dentist to join the team. We are so blessed that there are a few more nurses joining us this year. We are also praying for an outpouring of finances for medicines and sponsoring people to go. Philippine Medical Mission Outreach 2010

We are preparing for the Medical Mission Outreach for 2010. The dates of the mission will be April 12-24, 2010. Anyone interested in joining the team, there is still time to go to the Mission field. Sixth and Last site - Krah Gnoung Village

The last site was indescrible of what God continued to show the team. More people came to the site than any other site we have setup. The Team had to walk in to the area because the road was too narraow to drive the bus. Also they saw the children swimming in a small farming field that was filled by the rain in the last few days. The weather did not cooperate that day as well because the last two hours it rained with lightning, but the team held down the tent from blowing away. What a way to end an amazing time in the mission field when everyone was at peace even if around was chaos. We treated over 400 people up to the last minute of the clinic. Unthinkable events are possible as God shows His power and mercy that boost up your faith to the next level.

The Fifth Site - Tanub Village in Phnom Penh

There are more people that received the Word of God since it is in the city area. There were more children that came to the site. the children's evangelism made an impact in sharing the Word through games and fun while waiting to be treated by the doctor or dentist.

Many packages were prepared at the Pharmacy when they received their prescription. the people received toothbrush, vitamins and tracks that share the Gospel. The main item given in Cambodia is salt which is more needed than rice that are given in the Philippines because salt prevents and helps with goiters problems

The Fourth Site - Back to Phnom Penh

The Team arrived back into the capital city Phnom Penh. The weather continued to be unpredictable. As the the team setup the site in Trapeang Viheah Village, it was hot and humid. They used tents since the rooms were small to accommodate the people.

The prayer team on the lady who had stomach pains. As the team prayed for her the pain disappeared. A seed has been planted for the love of God. Cambodian people still continues to struggle on belief other than anything outside their culture.

As we conduct evangelism through the medical missions please continue to pray God's increase in their life.

Kratie Province - Kantuot Village

The weather is hot and humid. The team has setup at the last site of Kratie Province before heading back to Phnom Penh. The village is not very big. There were 250 people treated both with medical and dental needs. The team treated over 800 people. God is so good. The Team continues to show the love of Jesus as they see the people through the different section of the site.

The team has a long journey back to Phnom Penh. Continue to cover them with prayer and travel mercies. They will be at an orphanage over the weekend and attend the Sunday service of New Life Church. After service the Team will visit a museum, where they will see the historical events that happened in Cambodia. It will show the areas known as the "The Killing Fields", were Cambodian people lost their lives as well as being maimed by the mines planted in that area during the Khmer Rouge regime after the Vietnam War. Many Cambodian people where killed mainly by starvation and diseases during that time. Pray for the country of Cambodia on areas that God leads you to pray.

Second Site Kampong Cham

The second day the team headed out for an one hour and half bus ride to reach the second site called Pughea Kreak Village. The rain continues to pour for the second day in row but people stuck around to get the medical and dental treatment. Praise God! Still over 330 people heard the Good News of the love and compassion of God.

An amazing show of God's presence happens when saints pray for the miraculous, they receive the answer in an awesome deliverance of healing. A woman who had a stroke couldn't walk and her face partially paralyse was so thankful. after praying with her the woman's face relax almost to normal and was able to walk around still with difficulty but able to walk. That difference in situation is huge thing to a person who was partially paralyse by a stroke. She was so thankful. Continue to lift her up for complete healing to be a witness for Jesus.

Press in prayer for the team's covering. Local officials continue to conduct checks on their paper work even after they received permission to conduct the medical mission. God is awesome in times of evildoers trying to stop what God has ordained.

Kratie Province- Snuol Village

The team headed to Kratie Province which is about a 6 hour drive by bus from the city of Phnom Penh. The team setup at the first site called Snuol Village. The school they were able to use for the mission is really in the rural areas of Cambodia and they had to sweep up the dirt flooring for better sanitation to conduct treatments. There are no hospital around except in the major cities. If people get sick, sometimes they pass on because of the lack of facilities and clinics. It is a very different lifestyle and below the standards compared to even what we call the countryside of the United States.

The team treated around 300 people at the first site. People are scarce compared to the big city. As the evangelism team shares the gospel to the villagers. Their understanding of Jesus is just another god along the many gods people believe in Cambodia. However, there were two to three women who felt peace in their surroundings when the team prayed for them and continued to ask who is Jesus.

Continue to pray for the Cambodian people to open their hearts to God and their mind to receive revelation who is Jesus, the name above all names, the Prince of Peace and the Lord of All. Also pray for the team who labor in the fields to gather who God has sent them to harvest. Pray for strength for the heat and humidity.

Travel to Cambodia

As the team travelled to Cambodia, the Hawaii team met a lady in Taipei Airport headed to Cambodia.She twisted her ankle and the team offered to pray for healing. She only not only received healing on her ankle but also the prayer removed her throbbing headache and other painful areas she was experiencing at that moment. The power of prayer is incredible. The Team arrived safely to Cambodia and headed to Kratie Province where the first site will be established. The Combodia Medical Mission Team comprised of about 50 people this year. What an Awesome God we serve and meds went through great at the Customs and Immigration in the airport. The internet is slow in the hotel so I recieved the report first hand on the phone. Once the pictures are downloaded I will post on the blog.

After Effects of the Phillippine Medical Mission 2009

Wow! amazing what the Lord Jesus is doing with the out come of the medical mission. Additional souls came to the Lord.

1)Site Punta Tay-Tay: the Lord added us new souls every week and the regular attendees became strong in the faith and diligently witnessing despite of persecution.

2)Site Sum-Ag: another venue for us for bible study and a sister in Christ opened her house for a weekly gathering.

In addition the LORD ministering the locked-up children every week we were their to conduct bible study,games & giving lunch/snacks, a lot of them had a changed life their from ages ranging 5-22 years old.

Amazing how God orchestrated 82 people to work together as one family. Everyone treated one another as family and really enjoyed one another. When they go back home they have adopted each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Answered prayers for the medications lasted throughout the mission. We only had purchase cer

tain medications and vitamins which was supported by sponsors who donated prior to the start of the mission. It is awesome that God sets everything in place.

We have a mighty God who performs healing even today. The following are reports that happened during the mission:

In the photo, Cowanda (behind Babe holding the ladies hand), Babe and Mary are praying for a woman with severe chest pain. (Interpreter is at the left.) While we were praying God healed her and completely took the pain away. This was Cowanda's first time to lay hands on someone and pray for healing, and first time to see someone healed. She was moved to tears and in awe for the rest of the day. Hallelujah! He is soooo awesome!

One young lady on the Team received the baptism of the Spirit during our praise and worship and she began to speak in tongues. She declared that there is now a resident power in her that she did not have before. At the next site she enthusiastically and boldly prayed for people with extremely high blood pressure and within seconds their pressures dropped dramatically.

A woman who had trouble walking because of hip problems could not continue to walk through the line. They gave her the good news as she sat near the registration office. Then they prayed for her and laying hands on her hip. As they prayed, they told her to stand up. They told her to walk and her pain was gone through her faith, praise the Lord she was healed. We led her to the pharmacy to get vitamins and rice to take home.

A woman who could not hear began crying after she was prayed over by our prayer intercessor Mama Cora. She asked if anything was wrong and she answered I can hear you. Then she boldly testified of the miracle that happened and everyone with her on the next evangelism session gave their lives to the Lord Jesus.

A man whose body was numb from working in a bakery then he fetches water after work for his family and community that places his body battling heat and cold. As some people started praying for him his numbness went away and just went through the line to go through received the salvation message and publicly giving his life to Jesus.

A man walked in the clinic that had a serious problem and only the hospital at this point could help him. He had low blood pressure that could not even be read. The doctors told him to rest and sit so that we could pray for him. He told the doctors that he was ready to die. Our prayer warriors came into medical just in time and prayed with him even more, while the doctors were having him rest. A few minutes later the man was smiling and his continence was different. It is like the breath of life entered his body and started to walk around. He then said that he was strengthened. He wanted to go but we offered to pay for his ride home. He said that I am alive and I can walk home.

There was a woman in line who had her left eye damaged by a previous injury. (a nail that hit her eye and she cannot see from her left eye just a blur. Pastor Mayette explained to her the message of salvation while Mommy Cora (that is what everyone calls her) prayed for healing for her eye and when they finished their prayer. They asked her how she felt, she said she had a headache and then they prayed again for her. They asked her again about how she felt; they received the report of her left eye being able to see clearly. They covered the good eye and ask her again, can you see clearly now? and she replied yes and they celebrated praising the Lord Jesus. We are seeing the miracles and wonders and she has not even registered yet. What a mighty God we serve!

Pastor Nick ministered to a very special 13-year-old boy, named Christian, who said he's never seen so many smiles in his neighborhood. He declared, "You people brought the Spirit of God into this community! I want to be just like you, Pastor Dominic, and change nations!" (He began to cry.) He's only 13!! It was so obvious that this young man has a unique calling. He went on to say, "The other kids make fun of me because I know I am different and God shows me things." He prophesied over him and told him that God is especially fond of him and the God would continue to reveal His mysteries to him. He began to cry and said that we make him feel special and give him hope. He did not quite understand it, but he will operate in the prophetic and the apostolic gifts. Pray for this young man (Christian), that he would find a strong, spiritual father and mentor.

Praise God. He made the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walked, and the dead rise. Nothing is impossible with God.

Other Activities During the Mission

We were able to eat lunch at a nearby waterfall observation spot just about a kilometer away from the church. The team enjoyed the site.

We also attended a Saturday service at the mountain church that was a planted after last year’s mission. Everyone did not fit but enjoyed to see the fruit of the medical mission. They do have lots of children and the children’s ministry was a joy to see.

Some of the ladies were able to spend half a day at the orphanage. They cared for some of the children and played with them even just for a little while.

Others went to the children’s prison. No one was allowed to take pictures. A few of our children went with the some of the adults and it was an eye opener for them. The living conditions are way below American standards. It is a sad site to see but at least they are out of the street and have some form of meal to eat.

Some attended the local festivities in Bacolod called Panaad. Various booths displayed some of the town arts and crafts, as well as different varieties of food tasting from different areas of Negros.

The Result

Many of the Team members never notice on how many people registers to get treated in every site. They find out the result after the day is over when we worship together after dinner and testify the goodness of the Lord. Amazing how our God continues to show each one that step out in obedience that they are needed to complete the work of the Lord. Earlier in midst of the mission I charge the team with the scripture from 2 Cor 9

12 This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 13 Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 14 And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift.

Site Seven - Barangay Villa Esperanza

The number seven represents completion in the bible. Today is our last site. We are located by the sea and the site is for one of the fishing villages of Negros. The team was ready for the last site. We were in spiritual warfare. Our children's evangelism team after the second session all had headaches and do not know why. The enemy was at work and we found out why people were trickling in instead of already crowded in line, one of the barangay officials did not announce there was a medical mission being held. But to God be the victory. We still saw over 600 people and we had over 70 percent gave their lives to the Lord.

The volunteers were hard at work. we had great young people helping out this year. One of the families that helped out were the Yandall families who translated and assisted in every area of the outreached.

WE WANT TO THANK ALL THE LOCAL VOLUNTEERS THAT HELPED OUT BECAUSE WITHOUT THEM WE COULD NOT HAVE SEEN MORE PEOPLE THAN WE CAN HANDLED. BIG THANKS FOR BUSINESS INN FOR PROVIDING OUR LODGING.

Site 6 - Barangay Mandalagan

Have you ever felt stretched by God? An amazing thing happens. A man walked in the clinic who had a serious problem and only the hospital at this point could help him. Our prayer warriors came into medical just in time and prayed with him even more, while the doctors were having him rest. A few minutes later the man was smiling and his constanance was different. It is like a the breathe of life entered his body and started to walk around. He then said that he was strenghten. He wanted to go but we offered to pay for his ride home. He said that I am alive and I can walk home. Praise God. He made the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walked, and the dead rise. Nothing is impossible with God.

Everyone was stretched because we saw more than 900 people. There were so many people and you won't even notice because it comes in waves. Each area were working non-stop and the result was 60 percent of the people seen gave their lives to the Lord. We even had some of the Christian families that retired in that area provided soup with rice so that the people will not faint of hunger while waiting in line to be treated. We took turns going to lunch in order to get every person through the line.

Site Five - Barangay Sum Ag

Truly another awesome day! We had a line of over 100-200 people before the team even arrived at the site. We had some of the local police who keeps the team secure come around and toured the outreached. At this site, there are more dental patients than medical so we had to cut the dental early. But still we had another great crowd of over 700 people. With two more sites we may reach around 4000 people.

Miracles began early as a woman who could not hear began crying after she was prayed over by our prayer intercessor Mama Cora. She asked if anything was wrong and she answered I can hear you. Everyone called her Mama Cora for she would served everyone in all sections of the outreach. She is truly using her gift of discernment and healing to pray for people in line along with a team of prayer warriors. Everyone adopted her as the powerhouse mother of the team.

Site Four - Barangay Punta Tay-tay

What an awesome God we serve. You must all be praying that the team would be fired up because they were. On our fourth site (Barangay Punta Tay-tay) which means end of the bridge. Over 700 people were treated and over 460 accepted Jesus in their lives. The Team was pushing it beyond their limits. The dental team had help from some of the pastors to pull teeth. Amazing! The dental treated over 160 people averaging about two to three teeth per person. That’s a lot of teeth pulled in one day. If you want to know the total, we have served over 2200 people so far and have three sites to go.

Many miracles are taking place. There was a woman who had a hip problem and the team prayed for them and the pain went away. She was freed from pain. Another miracle was when we saw those 700 people within 2 hours prior to our normal closing time. God is showing us that even some of the team members had to leave we can do it with a few.

God also stretched the medicines for the past four sites. We only need to purchase a few at a time. Praise God that there are sponsors that donated financially that we can purchase more meds. Pray for more strength. The heat is getting to some of the team members, but no one wants to stay back.

God has really called the team members to this mission. Because everyone is assisting everyone in every area of need. We became one united body from all over the earth. This is exactly what God wants. A united body on a borderless mission.

Having Church on the Mountain

One year ago when we held the medical mission at Mt. Don Salvador Benedicto. We claimed that area for Christ and 6 months later a church was planted. People came from all over the mountain. They take about an hour or two to get to the church and we joined them in service Saturday morning. There were so many of us that some stayed outside the church made of tin roof and bamboo with a God created dirt flooring. Awesome!

There was also a young man that we prayed over to be trained for his calling to take over and pastor the church. He is going through training with the resident missionary. He was humbled with all the pastors that was with the team from all over the world and layed hands to pray over his calling.

I was able to join the children's ministry and their young kids leading the other kids in worship. It was humbling to see were God will lead the young kids to leading the next generation.

It also amazing that the children were more than the members of the church and there were four that led them in worship. Amazing what God has been establishing even in the remote areas of the Philippines.

Third site - Barangay 28 (Mabini Elemantary School)

Some of the team also visited Holy Infant Orphanage in Bacolod. Clothing and other items were donated for the children. They were so precious, and cried when the team left.

At the third site more people are praying and more people are being healed before being seen. The Holy Spirit are touching lives through the obedience of the missionaries going around by the leading of God to touch and pray for their lives.

But victory is in Jesus, we still saw over 500 people. We were expecting more that day but Praise the Lord! that 366 people accepted Christ in their lives. Hallelujah, God is an awesome!

The second site - Mt. Don Salvador Benedicto

It was a beautiful day at the mountain. The team left early to get to the top of the mountain and took a team picture before we started the outreach . Thursday was market day and everyone living in the moutain would buy and sell their home grown products ( fresh vegetables, meat, fish and other miscellaneous items). We set up the outreach near the market so that they can come to get treated that is not far from where they were. Below the mountain behind the team photo are houses spread across the the side of the mountain. they would walk down the mountain, cross a river , and then climb up the mountain again just to attend the market or church service.

The First Site - Barangay Tungub

Praise the Lord! As we asked for prayer to find an alternate site for the first site that caught on fire at the last minute before Holy Week, God answered with a school that accommodated the team with more space than normal. Normal is define with people crowded and waiting in the hot sun before being seen by our medical staff. God provided shade through their generosity of letting us use their facility. The change of location also made it unsure if the people in the community had enough time to know their was a medical mission in their area. We literally had one day to advertise around the community of Barangay Tungub.

This year, 3/4th of the Team are first time short-term missionaries. That means there are only few veterans out there to help guide the new members the flow of the outreach site. God continues to show His children that loves him to be connected as one. The flow of the mission had no problems. It was like a well-oiled machine. Every member worked as they have been doing this all the time. After the first day, we can no longer call them new comers but veterans.

Are you ready to hear the results? With all the challenges the enemy tried to throw at us God became more victorious at the end. We registered over 600 people and we treated 581 total. But the victory came when all was done. 449 accepted the Lord Jesus as their Saviour. Hallelujah!

Getting the team together to Bacolod

Praise the Lord! I was able to get the computer working again and continue the updates. Monday we were able to get the majority of the team together in Manila and travelled early morning Tuesday about 3am in the morning to catch a 4:55am flight to Bacolod city. with a big team of over 70 people everyone was able to get to the airport on time. The hotel did not have enough transportation so we hired Jeepney drivers o get all our luggages. I was surprise to have most of our team members trying to ride on the jeepney to the airport. For those of you who don't know what a jeepney is. Best description is a stretch out limo version of a CJ7 Jeep used to tranport people like a bus.

The team was awesome and got the luggages in and out of the jeep and off we were to the airport. As you can see we have a lot of luggaes filled with Meds and equipment to use at the mission. Once we arrived and settled into the rooms at Bacolod, we started to seperate the medicine for each day for each outreach site. Praise God we completed the process and we just celebrated and worshipped to prepare for the first site tomorrow. Please pray. Some of the meds did not make it and I know through your prayers the meds will mulitply as Jesus fed the multitudes with the few fish and loaves. Declare it.

Medical Mission to the Philippines 2009

The Grace Bible Church (GBC) Hawaii Team set to board Philippine Airline to Manila. (front) Lynsey, Dway, Hoku, Neese, Mary. (back row) Arnel, Gabe, and Elton. Everyone showed up with excitement to give the love of God to the Filipino people. We will join the rest of the Asian Relief Medical Services (ARMS) Team from different parts of the world in Manila and travel together to Bacolod City in the island of Negros Occidental. There are a total of 84 doctors, dentist, lay person and to add on the local volunteers. this year is about the biggest team we ever had.

Please pray that everyone has a safe travel and that all are healthy and strenghten.
